I found out this morning that the usual way I use to navigate from one window to another was not working in my new ubuntu installation.
Here is what I did as a workaround:
install COMPIZ
- Install (sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager)
- open the manager and navigate to window management
- checked application switcher (previously disabled )
that's it wish you a nice ALT-tabbing
Alex
Great! It works! thx
ReplyDeleteI noticed that if you use Application Switcher there is a Chrome bug (the browser freeze when you switch untill you resize the window) while if you use the standard "static Application Switcher" this is not happening.
ReplyDeleteThere is also a bug with Chrome with the latter: when it looses focus the window content freeze.
ReplyDeleteYou can remap Alt-Super-Tab into Alt-Tab from the ring switch (that I personally enojoy a lot)
