add-apt-repository in Jaunty

I wanted to keep Jaunty but to use the new features of apt: add-apt-package

so not to follow the keys and the repository installations. It's not that time consuming (for sure not as much as upgrading)

download the python lib for Karmic: http://ns2.canonical.com/karmic/all/...rties/download

Select a mirror, download, and install it with:

dpkg <name of the package downloaded>

Then the 'sudo add-apt-repository' should work. It worked for me when I added the dockbarx repository.

;) that's it ... cheers Alex
