how to make a ext3 disk writable for Mac OS X

Hi,
my girlfriend is a Mac fanatic (she owns a fancy mac book air... with a unique usb port) so we needed to share an external HD and it's formatted as ext3
on Mac side with ext fs manager she can only write on ext2 but not ext3
so since ext3 = ext2 + journaling you can simply
from linux side alter the following flag of your disk:
tune2fs -O ^dir_index /dev/<your partition>

and even the fancy Mac can be able to write on ext3 fs.

cheers Alex
